Without a doubt the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is the biggest and oldest motorcycle event in the world; every year during the first 2 weeks in August the small town of Sturgis, South Dakota is transformed into a non-stop party zone with over 500,000 Harley lovers and motorcycle enthusiasts in general taking over Sturgis and surrounding cities in a celebration of the Harley Davidson motorcycle and the biker lifestyle.

In years gone by it was considered a common practice to see biker babes letting it all hang out by flashing their breasts and even some going as far to get totally nude while strutting their stuff. Because Sturgis has all but transformed into an almost family event in the daytime, and along with stricter laws it is now illegal for any display of nudity and that goes for men too! The law is sternly enforced and the penalty is a fine of $750.00 and up to 6 months in jail.

To get around the nudity laws, women can be seen wearing pasties to cover their nipples, and those women who want to go the next step can get airbrushed body paint that let them go 100% topless while staying within the law.

For those wild women who truly need to let it all hang out, the only option is heading to Hulett, Wyoming for what is now called “No Panties Wednesday”, where women can let it all hang out and it is perfectly legal!

Originally called Ham ‘N Jam in Hulett is a popular party spot during the Sturgis rally, and looking to capitalize on the stiff nudity laws in South Dakota, the town allowed the Stoneville Saloon host what is called “Topless Tuesday” & “No Panties Wednesday”.

The event is so popular that it is being touted as a mini Sturgis without any rules, and from the vast amount of web and blog articles with pictures on Google from the 2012 Sturgis Rally it is clear that the newly named event is here to stay.

No matter what you think I am still a big fan of the pasty on topless women and if you check out my posts from the 2010 Sturgis Rally you will see the pictures of with two sexy pasty clad honey’s on Main Street. Both the pasty and airbrushed breast is in full effect in and around Sturgis, but you still owe it to yourself to check out the party scene in Hulett, Wyoming!

Before you hit the road make sure you get yourself a BAM card, it is 100% free and if you breakdown on the road or have an accident you will be in the good hands of a unique organization of bikers helping bikers!

What do you call a gathering of half million plus party crazed motorcyclists who converge on Sturgis, South Dakota the first 2 weeks in August? Answer, the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. To date there isn’t a motorcycle event or rally that even comes close the rich history and non-stop party action that Sturgis has. From the humble beginnings of the first Sturgis rally called the Black Hills Classic held in 1938 no one could have predicted that what started as an AMA sanctioned flat track race with a mix of old school motorcycle stunts would slowly become the world’s oldest and biggest celebration of the Harley Davidson motorcycle and the motorcycle lifestyle.

Rally promoters have a year round job putting together each rally and they all but kill themselves trying to make the subsequent rally bigger and better than last year’s rally. While this seems like impossible order to fill looking back rallies gone by the rally promoters have defiantly earned their paychecks.

Sturgis truly has something for everyone, from wild outrageous parties in the popular clubs to the old school hill climb, drag races, flat track madmen pushing the limits of physics, and lets not forget the multitude of sexy custom Harley’s and even sexier biker babes everywhere you look.

Walking up and down Main Street is a non-stop flow of eye candy in both Iron horse and female form, and when you get into the real party zones like the Buffalo Chip and the Full Throttle Saloon all you have to do is sit back and watch those hard partying babes literally let it all hang out, while pasties and full body paint is more common now, there are still plenty of hot topless women flaunting what they got!

The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally has got it all, live music with the top musical acts, hundreds of motorcycle vendors, accessories, and parts, and don’t forget the coolest apparel for men, women and the kids.

It would be downright impossible for one biker to see and do everything that Sturgis has to offer, but if you ask any of the determined hardcore partiers, they will tell you they are willing to give it their best shot to see and do it all even if it takes years and years to do it!

Make sure you get your self a BAM card before you hit the road to Sturgis, it is 100% free roadside assistance and more, and if you’re involved in a motorcycle accident while on the road or in Sturgis call Motorcycle Accident Lawyer Russ Brown at 1-800-4-BIKERS, they can make sure your rights are protected while getting you a reasonable settlement to get your motorcycle fixed, money to cover your hospital bills and expenses while you are unable to work and cash for your pain and suffering!

Promoting your website within Google and the other major SERPs can be a daunting task for anyone who is unfamiliar with the mechanics of SEO, and the task required to get your website or blog in the top ten ranks. There are plenty of qualified SEO companies around who can apply their SEO magic to your meta content and pages to push your site from non-existant to page one on Google and the other popular search engines, however many of these SEO companies charge exorbitant rates that may not be cost effective for small businesses or those on extremely tight budgets. The good news is there is an SEO consultant that is reasonably priced as well as unmatched in expertise and customer service.

In the old days of search engine optimization all that mattered was clean HTML code matched with relevant keyword rich content and user friendly navigation, but today there are additional elements such off page optimization that if not moulded to match your content can actually hurt you top 10 ranking potential. A perfect example is incoming links that are associated with what Google calls “bad neighborhoods” .

A bad neighborhood is a website is either a spam, phishing or scam site that has been reported and recognized by Google as nothing more than a hinderance to the internet. Your site could be an authority in its industry with hundreds of useful relevant pages with a moderate volume of traffic but incoming links from some of these undesirable websites can easily cause your site to be ranked far lower than your competitors simply because you are associated with bad neighborhood sites.

The key role of an SEO consultant is to make an assessment of your site and code to discover its strengths and weaknesses in relation to achieving prominent rankings on Google and other SERPs. You may discover that attaining top 10 Google rankings isn’t far out of your reach based on your budget and the SEO consultant services required to whip your site into shape are not only reasonable but cost effective as well.

People suffering with type 2 diabetes are prone to additional health problems if their blood sugar is not lowered and regulated. For years the common treatment was insulin pills and in some cases insulin injections, followed by a moderate diet and exercise. In 1999 Actos was approved for use in the U.S.

The introduction of Actos by Takeda Pharmaceuticals offered advanced control of glucose and blood sugars in people with type 2 diabetes.

The FDA reports that patients taking the diabetes drug Actos for more than a year may have an increased risk of bladder cancer, and this warning was only two days after two European countries banned use of the drug. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has yet to release any guidance on use of Actos.

There are numerous reported minor side effects associated with Actos, and although less common, clinical studies have shown that patients can develop severe and life-threatening Actos side effects, such as bladder cancer, congestive heart failure, bone fractures and lactic acidosis.

Actos is now the second medication in the thiazolidinedione (TZD) class to be associated with serious side effects within the past year. Last fall, the use of Avandia was severely restricted in the U.S. because of concerns about an increased risk of heart attack.

Since hitting the market in the late 1990s, doctors have prescribed Actos to millions of type 2 diabetes patients. Although the drug does help with diabetes, medical studies show a link between Actos and serious, life-threatening side effects, including heart failure and bladder cancer.

As more studies reveal more evidence about Actos triggering these life-altering side effects, an increasing number of people who suffered complications are filing an Actos lawsuit against the drug’s manufacturer.

To date, hundreds of Actos lawsuits are pending in U.S. federal court, and other cases are also being filed in state courts. The number keeps climbing because of widespread exposure to Actos’ dangers, and some observers hint that the number of lawsuits could climb rapidly.

If you were prescribed Actos, and have experienced negative side effects because of your treatment, you may be eligible to receive compensation to cover the cost of medical expenses, and pain and suffering caused by the medication.

As consumers we place our trust in medical professionals to treat us when we are faced with an injury or illness; we take the prescribed medicines they give us with confidence because they are trained medical professionals, but sometimes a drug we take can bring on adverse side effects and cause far more serious medical complications than our original ailment.

Dangerous or defective drugs produce unexpected, potentially life-threatening side effects, usually as a result of incomplete testing by drug companies or the common practice of manipulating statistics to make the drug look safer than it is. Here are a few of the most notable dangerous and defective drugs:

Pradaxa * Fosamax * Accutane * Actonel * Kugel * Yaz * Beyaz * Actos * Reglan * Drug Birth Defects (SSRI, Clomid, Zoloft) * Ocella

In cases where a patient was injured as the result of taking a defective prescription drug, the cause was the result of the drug manufacturers failure to develop the drug to be safe for use or even adequately warn consumers on the potential for serious or deadly adverse side effects.

The use of any prescription drug may carry potential side effects, but as a consumer, you have a reasonable expectation that they are for your benefit. More importantly, you assume that the drug will help you through your illness, and not cause you harm. Unfortunately, some prescription drugs are rushed to market without the proper testing for long term complications.

Patients assume the medication they are prescribed will help them get better. But some drugs are defective and can put a patient’s health in even greater danger. The drug manufacturer or in some cases your healthcare provider may be responsible for any injuries you suffer as a result of these defects.

Pharmaceutical companies very often abuse the FDA process by providing skewed trials for FDA drug approval. There is no question that the business of prescription drugs is a multi billion dollar a year business. Some speculate that it is this fact that creates a climate ripe for defective drugs to get cleared through the FDA process. This travesty exposes the general public to horrible side effects and in some instances, death from taking these defective drugs. The only enforcement we have is the defective drug lawyers fighting hard for the rights of injured victims.

If you have been injured as a result of a defective drug, it is essential to contact a defective drug attorney as soon as possible who can guide you through the legal process. Each type of injury involving a defective drug has special factors that need to be considered, including statutes of limitations, insurance policies, and injury reports.

Those affected by defective drugs are left with the feeling that their cure is far worse than their original medical ailments.

There are many other examples of defective drugs. If you or a loved one has been injured after taking a defective pharmaceutical drug you should contact an experienced personal injury attorney who will fight for you rights and secure financial compensation to cover corrective medical treatment or surgeries and money for your pain and suffering.

The Drug Pradaxa has been under attack by physicians groups and patient advocates since 3,781 adverse effects and 542 deaths associated with Pradaxa were reported last year to the Food and Drug Administration. Its adverse reports and deaths surpassed all other monitored drugs. The FDA is now conducting a safety review of the drug, which millions of people around the country take twice a day.

Fed up with the dishonest practices of Boehringer Ingelheim, consumers around the U.S. are teaming up with multiple lawsuits against the makers of Pradaxa who’s blood thinner drug designed for stroke and heart attack victims cause irreversible internal bleeding.

Pradaxa, a blood thinner approved by the F.D.A. in 2010 for patients with irregular heartbeat. When introduced, it was celebrated as the first replacement of the decades-old drug warfarin, known by the brand name Coumadin, the leading stroke-prevention pill — but one that requires weekly exams and calls for dietary restrictions.

The new drug was launched by German drug maker Boehringer Ingelheim, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world.

Boehringer spent $464 million in 2011 to promote Pradaxa, including direct-to-consumer advertising. During the same period, the company’s sales topped $1 billion.

The race to replace warfarin was believed to be over, and the company responsible for developing the substitute was broadcasting its message loudly.

But thousands of run-ins like the one Roy Heady of the Cookeville Tennessee area experienced raised alarms for regulators.

Shortly after switching medications last spring from Coumadin to Pradaxa, he was hospitalized for a hemorrhage. Although he was yanked off the medication, he still suffers from internal bleeding as a result of Pradaxa, according to a federal suit filed recently in Nashville.

If you or a loved one has been injured after taking a defective pharmaceutical drug you should contact an experienced personal injury attorney who will fight for you rights and secure financial compensation to cover corrective medical treatment or surgeries and money for your pain and suffering.

Used for thousands of heart attack and stroke patients, Pradaxa was once hailed as a superior blood thinner. But today researchers have shined a light on this drug, revealing its dangerous side effects including uncontrollable and relentless internal bleeding that can quickly cause death. More than ever, Pradaxa patients suffering from internal bleeding need a defective drug attorney to protect their rights.

Bleeding is a recognized complication of anti-coagulant drugs. However, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has ordered a safety review of Pradaxa. The FDA wants to know whether patients taking Pradaxa have uncontrollable internal bleeding more frequently than would be expected.

The blood thinning drug Pradaxa has been associated with an increased risk of heart attack, according to a new study in the Archives of Internal Medicine.

In the study, published on Jan. 9, 2012, two Cleveland Clinic researchers found that Pradaxa boosted the risk of a heart attack and an acute coronary syndrome by as much as one-third. The researchers looked at data from nearly 40,000 patients and compared those taking Pradaxa with patients using another blood-thinner or a placebo.

The researchers stated: “The overall benefit and risk balance of dabigatran [Pradaxa] use appears to be favorable in patients with AF [nonvalvular atrial fibrillation] because of reduction in ischemic stroke. However, the cardiac risk of dabigatran should be investigated further, especially if it is used in populations at high risk of MI [myocardial infarction] or ACS [acute coronary syndrome].”

Manufacturers of prescription drugs have a legal responsibility to produce drugs that are safe and effective when used as intended. When drug makers fail to meet their legal obligation and consumers are harmed, we believe they should be held accountable.

The most frightening aspect of Pradaxa is there isn’t an antidote or re-agent that will stop of reverse the internal bleeding brought on by the drug. Reports show that in early July 2012 Boehringer Ingelheim began working on an antidote for the internal bleeding side effects caused by Pradaxa. To date there have been no report of success!

Some medical professionals are wary of the Pradaxa label update, since its approval was based on information from the RE-LY clinical study – the same research that helped garner FDA approval for the drug in 2010.

If you are taking a prescription drug such as Pradaxa, it’s important to recognize the warning signs of complications. It’s also important to understand your legal options if you experience serious side effects.

If you or a loved one have suffered complications from Pradaxa, including internal bleeding, or death you may have legal rights to claim compensation.

SSRI antidepressants including the popular drugs Zoloft, Lustral or Serlain (Generic: sertraline) have been linked to variety of severe birth defects including Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension (PPHN), heart, lung, abdominal and cranial defects, and as of this date thousands of lawsuits have been filed against Pfizer the manufacture of Zoloft.

Drug manufacturers have a responsibility to warn patients and doctors of the known risks in taking medications while pregnant. When drug manufacturers fail to warn consumers, they must be held accountable. The filing of a Zoloft lawsuit will never heal the emotional devastation of knowing that your child’s birth defect could have been prevented, however it can assist you and your family in the paying of medical bills, covering future healthcare costs and give you the satisfaction of knowing that you will not stand by and let a giant pharmaceutical company put their profits over the safety of American consumers and their families.

A study published in the July 2011 Archives of General Psychiatry found that women who took an SSRI antidepressant like Zoloft while pregnant were twice as likely to give birth to a child with an autistic spectrum disorder (ASD) than mothers who did not. ASDs are a group of complex developmental disabilities that cause problems with social interaction and communication. The scientists who conducted the study have advised doctors and patients to carefully weigh the benefits vs. risks of taking antidepressants carefully before beginning a regiment.

Doctors and medical professionals all agree there is fine balance between treating depression and ensuring the safety of your unborn child; studies have shown that women suffering untreated from depression while pregnant pose a serious risk to their unborn child, and great care must be taken by any women taking Zoloft or other SSRI’s.

If you or a loved one has taken Zoloft or another SSRI drug and your baby was born with birth defects you should contact an experienced Birth Defect personal injury attorney who will fight for rights and secure financial compensation for you to cover corrective medical treatment or surgeries and money for your pain and suffering.

With a full recall of the Zimmer Nexgen knee replacement implant on going since 2010 and hundreds of lawsuits still in progress against the manufacture of this widely used knee replacement implant there are still many consumers who are experiencing pain, and loss of mobility from the internal defects of the NexGen implant replacement.

In 2010, Dr. Richard Berger, a former Zimmer consultant and orthopedic surgeon, along with a colleague presented their observations in a non-peer reviewed report entitled “The High Failure Rate of a High-Flex Total Knee Arthroplasty.” The report summarized the doctors observations of 108 patients, 36% of whom showed signs of “radiographic loosening.” Approximately 8% of those patients had knee revision surgery within just a few years of having their initial implant surgery. Though Dr. Berger’s report recommended that the “device not be used on any patient,” the CR-Flex remained in use until the FDA recall.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on two separate occasions targeted Zimmer Holdings in major product recalls – its NexGen Complete Knee Solution MIS Tibial Components, NexGen TM Tibial Trays and MIS Modular Tibial Plates and Keels.

In September 2010, the FDA ordered a Class II recall for Zimmer’s NexGen Complete Knee Solution MIS Tibial Components, NexGen TM Tibial Trays, and MIS Modular Tibial Plates and Keels. These component parts were recalled due to a “noncomforming geometry” that kept their locking screws and stem extensions from properly interlocking with each other. Their tendency to dislocate resulted in complications such as pain, infection, immobility, and osteoarthritis.

While the facts are clear and the FDA’s recall order in effect, there are still many people who are coming forward with complaints of sever pain, loosening, clicking, popping, and discomfort from the Zimmer NexGen knee replacement they had implanted. Many of patients who underwent knee replacement surgery with the Zimmer NexGen are elderly and on fixed incomes and now forced to live with the pain, loss of mobility making a substantial impact of their quality of life!

In any event the only recourse available for those suffering from their Zimmer NexGen knee replacement implants is seeking legal representation of a experience and qualified personal injury attorney to file a claim against Zimmer to recover damages. Financial compensation will cover corrective surgeries and rehabilitation, financial losses and pain and suffering.

In 2009 Senator Charles Grassley (R-IA) sent a letter to David C. Dvorak President and CEO of Zimmer Holdings Inc., regarding the company’s deferred prosecution agreement with the Department of Justice (DOJ).

If you or a loved one have been injured from a Zimmer NexGen knee replacement implant you may be entitled to recover damages for your pain and suffering. There are time limits that dictate how long you may wait before you have to file a claim so do not delay. Hiring a personal injury lawyer will protect your rights.

The diabetes drug pioglitazone (Actos) increases the risk of bladder cancer in people who take it for a year or longer, the Food and Drug Administration announced yesterday. The warning applies to all drugs containing pioglitazone, including Actoplus Met, Actoplus Met XR, and Duetact.

The FDA said an ongoing study involving more than 193,000 people 40 or older with type 2 diabetes found that those who took Actos for more than a year had a 40 percent higher risk of developing bladder cancer. France banned the drug last week after a study that followed 1.5 million people with diabetes also found an increased risk of bladder cancer, particularly in men.

Signs of bladder cancer include blood or red color in your urine, urgent need to urinate or pain while urinating, and pain in your back or lower abdomen. Contact your doctor if you experience any of those symptoms.

The FDA has not banned Actos or the combination pills that contain it, but said the medications should not be used by people who have previously had or currently have bladder cancer.

Regulators in France and Germany pulled Actos from markets after government-funded studies concluded that the drug increased patients’ likelihood of developing bladder cancer. In America, the FDA currently recommends that patients using Actos continue to do so unless otherwise directed by their doctor, but that doctors should avoid prescribing Actos to patients with a history of bladder cancer. Actos will be packaged with information regarding the elevated risk of experiencing bladder cancer symptoms.

Takeda Pharmaceuticals America, Inc. and Eli Lilly and Co., the companies that manufacture Actos, face potentially thousands of claims that their drug causes bladder cancer and congestive heart failure in patients. Federal lawsuits were recently consolidated in the state of Louisiana, where federal judge Rebecca Doherty will preside over the trials beginning this year, as well as in California under state court judge Carl J. West. Takeda also faces a “whistleblower” lawsuit claiming that the company directed its employees to downplay the potential side effects of Actos.

Many consumer groups have advocated more stringent monitoring by the FDA before drug approval. Many of the drug companies spend money on marketing drugs with TV ads and other methods. At one time in the past, this type of marketing was very limited. Consumer groups advocate a critical need for adequate money for research to make drugs safer and find new drugs.

If you have been injured or diagnosed with bladder cancer as the result of taking Actos you may be entitled to recover damages for your pain and suffering. There are time limits that dictate how long you may wait before you have to file a claim so do not delay in hiring a defective drug lawyer.
